Nightwatch scores a triple A nutriscore

Good news! We have requested a nutriscore for our products and guess what? Nightwatch is the only 100% plant-based energy drink that scores A on the nutriscore. 

But what is the nutriscore? For sure you will recognize the logo and you’ll have seen it on food packages.

It is a logo that informs about the nutritional quality simplified and complementary to the mandatory nutrition declaration set by European regulations. The foods concerned are processed foods and non-alcoholic beverages. Some exceptions exist such as aromatic herbs, teas, coffees, yeasts.

Letter A on green background indicates that the product scores well for nutritional value. A product with a red E is one you should eat or drink moderately. 

Its color is associated with letters ranging from A to E to optimize its accessibility and understanding by the consumer.

The score takes into account for 100 grams of product, the content of:

– nutrients and foods to promote (fiber, protein, fruits and vegetables)

– nutrients to limit (energy, saturated fatty acids, sugars, salt).

It is not officially requiered to have a nutriscore on food and beverages but we strongly support this. Do you agree? Sign this form!
